The CtWARN Steering committee has been working diligently since last March when the committee attended a WARN workshop sponsored by AWWA and EPA in Cleveland Ohio. On Thursday November 8, 2007, the kickoff workshop was held at the Prospect Fire House with over 75 utility representatives in attendance. On November 15, 2007 the second kickoff workshop was held at the MDC Training Center in Hartford with over 90 registered attendees. The response was overwhelming and utility representatives are bringing the official Mutual Aide Agreement back to their utilities for their review and hopefully ratification. The CtWARN.org website has been officially launched and is live!
